The first GP of Austria took place in 1964 in the area of the military airfield in Zeltweg. From then on the race became - with interruptions - one of the highlights of the sport''s year in Austria. Completely rebuilt and now fully moved to Spielberg, the last Grand Prix of Austria took Place in 2003 and has since then been on hiatus. Now the racetrack - being renamed to Red Bull Ring - will see Formula One races again, since the racing circus is coming back to Austria.
