What is ticket insurance?
Book your tickets without worries: ticket insurance reimburses the value of purchased tickets if, for example, you are unable to attend the booked event due to illness. You can find details in the insurance terms and conditions (March 2019). Insurance can only be taken out during the ticket booking process; unfortunately, it is not possible afterward.
How can I purchase insurance?
During the ordering process, you can purchase insurance in the shopping cart by clicking on "Ticket Insurance." The insurance price and the new total amount will be displayed in the shopping cart.
What should I do in case of an insurance claim?
If an insurance claim occurs, you can apply for reimbursement online. Please prepare the following documents in PDF or JPG format:
- A photo of the original tickets or a PDF document for ticketdirect-type tickets
- (email) order confirmation
- A medical certificate with diagnosis and treatment details or another document confirming the occurrence of the insurance event in accordance with § 7 of the insurance terms and conditions
If needed, we will be happy to send you a statement specifying the insurance tariff you have taken out. After reviewing the submitted documents, the ticket value will be transferred to the bank account you provided.
