The Casualties sind eine 1990 gegründete Streetpunk-Band aus New York City. Der gebürtige Ecuadorianer Jorge Herrera ist als Einziger der Gründungsmitglieder noch heute Teil der Band. Erst 1997 erscheint das Debütalbum "For The Punx". Bis 2012 folgen weitere zehn Alben. Zur seit 1999 nicht mehr veränderten Bandbesetzung gehören, neben dem Sänger Jorge Herrera, der Gitarrist Jake Kolatis, der Drummer Marc "Meggers" Egger und der Bassist Rick Lopez.
