Sophie Hunger ist eine Schweizer Musikerin. Sie debütierte 2008 mit ihrem Album MONDAY’S GHOST (Universal Jazz France) und spielte 2010 als erste Schweizer Künstlerin beim Glastonbury Festival. In Deutschland erhielt sie 2015 den LEA für die beste Live-Tournee und 2019 den Preis für Popkultur. In Frankreich erhielt sie 2017 den Prix Lumières für ihre Filmmusik des Oscarnominierten Films MA VIE DE COURGETTE. Sie studierte Anglistik und Germanistik in Zürich, Konstanz und Bern.
