Das Trio Schmieds Puls um Sängerin und Gitarristin Mira Lu Kovacs darf laut eigenen Angaben zum Genre des „dark songwriting grunge pop“ gezählt werden. Das Debüt-Album „Play Dead“ erschien 2013. Im Oktober 2015 folgte das zweites Album "I Care A Little Less About Everything Now", mit dem die österreichische Singer/Songwriterin, Schlagzeuger Christian Grobauer und Bassist Walter Singer noch 2015 auf Tour sind.
