2014 haben Kathi Strommer und Bernhard Thain, zwei engagierte Mostviertler*innen (deren größte Leidenschaft Kunst und Kultur ist) den Musiktheaterfrühling Kilb ins Leben gerufen.
Die Zusammenarbeit der geborenen Kilberin und erfahrenen Regisseurin mit ihrem Staatsopern-Umfeld und dem Pöchlarner Dirigenten des Kammerorchester Musica Spontana mit all seinen Vernetzungen in der niederösterreichischen Kulturszene hat bei den Produktionen "Der Vogelhändler" (2014), "My Fair Lady" (2015) und "Die lustigen Weiber von Windsor" (2017) schon erfolgreiche Früchte getragen.
