Lynyrd Skynyrd

Hardly any band embodies the ideal of a Southern American as Lynyrd Skynyrd. Since 1964 they have been singing of the values of a honest, hard-working citizen who comes home in the evening, puts the food on the table, drinks a beer in front of the TV and is the head of the family. Their sets include groovy riffs and rock arrangements. They are among the most important pioneers and representatives of Southern rock and they have written music history with hits like Simple Man, Freebird and Sweet Home Alabama.
