John Lee Hooker Jr., son of the legendary blues icon John Lee Hooker, was born in Detroit and began performing at eight years old. A modern blues standout with major awards, two Grammy nominations, and performances alongside B.B. King, Etta James, Buddy Guy, Taj Mahal, Lenny Kravitz, and The Rolling Stones, he later experienced a life changing deliverance by the Power of God from addiction and over 30 years in and out of prison.
Now a three category Gospel Choice Music Awards nominee, he lives in Germany with his wife and ministers worldwide as a singer, preacher, and International Prison Chaplain.
