Folly & the Hunter ist eine Indie-Folk-Band aus Montréal, Kanada. Gegründet wurde die Band von Nick Vallee, Laurie Torres und Christopher Fox. Ihr Debütalbum Residents erschien 2011. Ihr zweites Album nahmen Folly & the Hunter mit Jace Lasek von den Besnard Lakes auf. Tragic Care wurde im April 2013 veröffentlicht. Im Jahr 2015 erschien das dritte Studioalbum Awake und Phil Creamer wurde dauerhaft Mitglied der Band.
