Die 1977 in Hohenems geborene und in Wien lebende Jazzmusikerin Fatima Spar beschäftigt sich seit ihrem 13. Lebensjahr mit Jazzgesang und Gitarre. 2004 gründete sie "Fatima Spar and The Freedom Fries" und bestritt erfolgreiche Konzerte im In- und Ausland. Bereits im Gründungsjahr gewann sie den Förderpreis des Austrian World Music Awards. 2006 veröffentlichte sie ihr Album "Zirzop", auf das 2008 das Zweitalbum "Trust" folgte.
