Schon in Jugendjahren experimentierte der österreichische Musiker Oliver Thomas Johnson aka Dorian Concept (geb. 1984) mit Musik-Software und Piano, Bass und Saxophon. Seine musikalische Karriere begann er als typischer "Schlafzimmer-Produzent", bevor er 2005 sein Studium an der Medienfachhochschule Salzburg begann. Zunächst als Bassist aktiv, veröffentlichte er 2009 sein Debüt-Soloalbum "When Planets Explode". Sein zweites Album veröffentlichte der Musiker aus Wien sein zweites Album "Joined Ends" beim renommierten Label "Ninja Tune".
