Bryan Adams, the rock legend to whom time bows down
Bryan Adams, renowned for his distinctive voice, heartfelt lyrics and powerful stage presence, has been a fixture in the music industry for decades. With a career that boasts such timeless hits as "Summer of '69," "Heaven," and "Run to You," Adams has become synonymous with anthemic rock that resonates around the world. The celebrated artist has toured the world for nearly four decades. His music has topped the charts in more than 40 countries and has received numerous awards, including a Grammy, American Music Awards, three Academy Awards, five Golden Globe nominations and has been named a Companion of the Order of Canada.
And as he likes to say: "Every time someone pays me a compliment, I tell them rock and roll keeps you young. Playing music, seeing the world, it's not a bad job if you can get it."
In 2018, he ventured into the world of musical theater, co-writing the songs for 'Pretty Woman: The Musical', and in 2022 he released his 16th studio album, 'So Happy It Hurts'. He also followed Taylor Swift's example of re-recording some of her biggest songs with a double album 'Classics' in 2023 and released a three-album box set from his Royal Albert Hall residency shortly afterwards. In August 2024, Bryan launched Bad Records, his own independent record label, with a limited edition 7" digital single and music video of two tracks, "Rock And Roll Hell" and "War Machine".
Gary Breit is a Canadian pianist who has been with Bryan Adams since 2002 and is the sole accompanist for Bare Bones concerts. Breit played keyboards on Adams' 2004 album Room Service after the departure of Adams' former keyboardist Tommy Mandel. Thereafter, he toured continuously with Adams and his band.
