Beat ist eine US-amerikanische Progressive-Rock-Supergroup aus dem King-Crimson-Umfeld, gegründet Anfang 2024 auf Initiative von Sänger und Gitarrist Adrian Belew.
Zum Line-up gehören Tony Levin (Bass), Gitarrenikone Steve Vai sowie Danny Carey von Tool am Schlagzeug. Der Bandname verweist auf das King-Crimson-Album "Beat" (1982).
Beat widmet sich der Live-Interpretation der King-Crimson-Alben "Discipline", "Beat" und "Three of a Perfect Pair". Robert Fripp ist nicht beteiligt, unterstützte das Projekt jedoch offiziell.
