Aurora

AURORA (* 15. Juni 1996 in Stavanger als Aurora Aksnes) ist eine norwegische Sängerin, Songwriterin und Produzentin. International bekannt wurde sie 2015 mit der EP „Running with the Wolves“ und ihrem Debütalbum „All My Demons Greeting Me as a Friend“ (2016).

Es folgten Werke wie „Infections of a Different Kind – Step 1“ (2018), „A Different Kind of Human – Step 2“ (2019) und „The Gods We Can Touch“ (2022) mit den Singles „Cure For Me“ und „Giving in to the Love“.

Ihre Stimme war zudem in Disney-Produktionen wie „Dumbo“ (2019) und „Frozen II“ zu hören. Der Song „Runaway“ entwickelte sich 2021 durch TikTok zum weltweiten Hit. AURORA verbindet Nordic Pop, Elektronik und Folkelemente zu einem einzigartigen Klangbild.
