Alex Vargas ist ein dänischstämmiger Sänger und Produzent. Bekannt wurde er durch seinen "Noise Soul" - einem neuartigen Sound zwischen Soul und abstrakter Elektronik.
Schon auf der 2016 veröffentlichten EP „Giving Up The Ghost“ kombinierte Alex Vargas sein Gespür für übergroße Refrains à la Stevie Wonder mit seinem unverwechselbaren Falsettgesang und eigenwilligen Produktionen. Sein 2017 veröffentlichtes Debütalbum „Cohere“ kletterte bis auf Platz 11 der dänischen Albumcharts und brachte ihm eine Auszeichnung als ‚Solokünstler des Jahres‘ bei den Danish Music Awards ein.
