Info
When his first solo LP, “Na Parlez”, received gold and platinum in the 1980s, international media celebrated Paul Young as the best English soul singer. Three decades later, Paul Young is giving his first Vienna concert!
Paul Young was born in England in 1956. His combination of pop and soul elements made him one of the biggest stars of the 1980s. His unmistakable, husky and mellow voice contributed to the success of his music. Songs like "Wherever I Lay My Hat (That's My Home)" and "Everytime You Go Away" (written by Daryl Hall) have become classics. Further hits such as “Come Back and Stay!“ und “Love Will Tear Us Apart“ made PAUL YOUNG, together with Simply Red’s Mike Hucknall, one of the two most successful white soul interpretors of our time.
